Corretto means corrected in Italian. A shot of espresso is served with a small splash of spirit, usually grappa or sambuca, which is added to the coffee or served in a glass on the side. It is an after meal drink in Italy and is also drunk in the morning in some places. It contains alcohol, so it is for adults only.
